Stocknet-Aston Securities ASA has been a member of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange since June 2001.
Stocknet-Aston Securities ASA has decided to become a member of the FUTOP Clearing Centre in order to be able to offer on-line trading in Danish listed share derivatives. Stocknet expects to begin trading by the end of the first half of 2003.
"The fact that Stocknet-Aston Securities ASA now applies for membership of the FUTOP Clearing Centre reflects the growing interest in listed share derivatives in Denmark. Easier access to trading in listed share derivatives for all investor groups is an essential element in the Exchange's strategy for the promotion of the derivatives market", said CFO Jan Ovesen.
"By offering trading in Danish listed derivatives, Stocknet-Aston Securities ASA continues to focus on product development and the development of a complete financial service. The membership of the FUTOP Clearing Centre also means that we will be able to offer the most efficient service and offer the widest range of products to our customers", said Head of Equities Bjørn Sibbern, Stocknet-Aston Securities ASA.
