Copenhagen Stock Exchange Selects New Midcap+ And Smallcap+ Portfolios

Date 23/06/2006

The Copenhagen Stock Exchange has just selected the shares to be included in the future MidCap+ and SmallCap+ portfolios, which will be effective from July 1, 2006 until October 1, 2006. Compared with today’s portfolios, two companies have qualified for the plus segments, which will then comprise 65 companies. D/S Torm is new in MidCap+ and BoConcept Holding B is new in SmallCap+.

From July 1, 2006, the MidCap+ segment will hold 26 companies (26 shares). Bang & Olufsen B was transferred to the OMXC20 index on June 19 and has already exited the MidCap+ index. D/S Torm has exited the OMXC20 index and is new in the MidCap+ index. TopoTarget moves from SmallCap+ to MidCap+. Ambu, D/S Norden and H+H International will exit MidCap+ because the companies no longer fulfill the requirement to market value in free float. Rockwool International A will enter MidCap+ because it now fulfills the requirements for entering the index. The SmallCap+ segment will in the coming six-month period comprise 39 companies (40 shares). BoConcept Holding B is new in SmallCap+ as are Ambu, D/S Norden and H+H International, which until now have been in MidCap+. TopoTarget exits the index as it will enter MidCap+.

The eligibility requirements for MidCap+ and SmallCap+ have increased

The requirements to market value and turnover are related to the value of the KFMX Index on the day of selection. The KFMX Index contains all companies not included in the OMXC20 index.

The KFMX Index has gone up since the latest selection in the beginning of December 2005; consequently the requirement to market value in free float is raised from DKK 1,300 million to DKK 1,600 million to qualify for MidCap+.

The requirement to the average daily turnover in the individual share applicable to the future portfolio has increased to DKK 1,500,000 in respect of the MidCap+ shares and to DKK 150,000 in respect of the SmallCap+ shares as against DKK 1,400,000 and DKK 140,000 at the selection in December-2005.

New requirements for MidCap+ and SmallCap+ as of October 2, 2006

In connection with the launch of the Nordic List on October 2, 2006, the requirements to enter MidCap+ and SmallCap+ will change. From October 2, it will for instance be the company’s market capitalization on the Nordic List – see www.omxgroup.com for more information – which decide whether the company qualifies for SmallCap+ of MidCap+. The market value in free float has been used until now. The division of companies in MidCap+ and SmallCap+ will therefore be revised October 2 even though it is in the middle of a period. The next “real” selection will take place on November 30, 2006 with effect from January 1, 2007.

During July 2006 the new requirements for MidCap+ and SmallCap+ will be announced.
