The news on the English version of the web site with the Exchange News consists of Reuters news stories and announcements from the listed companies that issue announcements in English as well as the Exchange's own announcements.
To read the stock market news at www.xcse.dk, choose Personal Pages from the main menu. Please note that to gain access, you need to create a user name and password, which are free.
The stock market news comes directly from the companies listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange and is released via StockWise (the Exchange's information product) to the web site www.xcse.dk. The stock market news is updated immediately after the announcements have been released to the market.
Commenting on the new service, Senior Vice President Peter Belling said: "We now give private investors a chance to get close to the information that is available to the professional market participants. Last month, we introduced company announcements and accounting and key figures for all the listed companies directly on our homepage. Today, we introduce more stock market news in the form of market reports and news in brief from the Danish market and news in brief in the English language from the world's leading stock exchanges, if the markets are open, i.e. news on Danish holidays that are business days abroad. Companies submitting announcements in both Danish and English will have both versions published at www.xcse.dk. Thus we have taken another giant step to promote the Danish share investment culture and the listed companies' communication with the investors."
The stock market news will be accessible at the web site for 24 hours before they are deleted to give place to the latest news. News from Fridays will be available at the web site throughout the weekend.
