Copenhagen Stock Exchange - Introduction Of New Trading Functionality On The Equity Market Postponed

Date 06/10/2000

The launch of the new trading functionality, scheduled for 11 October 2000, will be postponed as a consequence of the postponement of the transfer of bonds to SAXESS.

The Exchange expects to introduce the new functionalities on Monday 30 October. The final launch date will be announced at the beginning of next week.

The new trading functionalities are: linked orders, combination orders and average price matching, which were all launched on the Swedish equity market on 28 August this year.

The functionalities have previously been described in Briefing No. 42 of 31 May. For further information, please see the memorandum "New trading functionality in SAXESS 2.0". The attached memorandum "Combination orders - a tutorial and FAQ" contains a detailed description of the functionality behind combination and linked orders. The descriptions in Chapters 5 and 6 of the memorandum of the standard combination orders and combination orders in yield based sub-markets are of no relevance to trading on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange as these functionalities will not be introduced here. Should you have any questions to the memorandum, please contact Henning Kruse, HK@xcse.dk or Vibeke H. Bonde Nielsen, VBN@xcse.dk.
