In terms of trading volume, Novo Nordisk still ranked first with DKK 5 billion. Second was Vestas Wind Systems with a trading volume of DKK 4.7 billion followed by Danske Bank with DKK 3.6 billion.
The KFX Index fell by 8 per cent and was thus the index to perform least poorly among the Exchange's main indices. The growth shares this month were once again hit hardest, and the KVX Index dropped 26 per cent over the month. Compared with the month of August 2000, the KFX, KBX and KFMX indices were approximately 15 per cent lower, whereas the KVX Index fell by 56 per cent since its implementation on 1 September last year.
