The Danish Securities Centre will implement the changes on 7 February with effect from the settlement day 8 February 2001, however, not until after the settlement of block 10.
The Exchange will change the face value with effect from 5 February 2001 (however, 6 February 2001 for treasury bills and a few other securities with 2 settlement days), so that amounts in kroner and ører may be traded as from 3 days before the settlement day. When reporting transactions to the Exchange and placing orders amounts must, however, be rounded to the nearest whole krone, cf. Briefing no. 108.
In connection with settlement please note that the volume of all transactions with settlement on 8 February, which must be reported for settlement by the Danish Securities Centre in block 10 on 8 February 2001, must be divisible by the previous face value. Reports to the Danish Securities Centre which do not meet this requirement will be rejected. When block 10 has closed it will be possible to report and settle trading amounts stated in kroner and ører (euros and cents).
SAXESS
It will be possible to test these face value changes in the SAXESS test system EXTTST21 as from Monday 22 January 2001. The changes will be implemented in the trading system on the night of 2 February 2001 and will thus be in effect when the system opens on Monday 5 February. CK Information
The new face values will be available in CK21 and CK22 on the morning of 5 and 6 February, respectively, since an extraordinary CK transaction will be released on these two days.
Correction Of The Monthly Statistics - Realdanmark Weighs 0 In Index Calculation
The table displaying market caps and the list of all shares have been corrected in the December statistics, since RealDanmark had been included by mistake. RealDanmark's market value of approx. DKK 33 billion has now been removed.
To avoid double counting in connection with the increase in the share capital of Danske Bank (the merger will not take place until the spring) the RealDanmark shares were eliminated from the Exchange's index calculations with effect from 22 November 2000, even though the shares are still listed.
