Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced a component change in the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index.
Sky Financial Group, Incorporated (NASDAQ: SKYF) will be deleted from the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index and replaced by Pacific Capital Bancorp (NASDAQ: PCBC). Sky Financial Group, Incorporated is being removed due to its acquisition by Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (NASDAQ: HBAN).
The changes in the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index will be effective as of the open of trading on Monday, July 2, 2007.
The Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index tracks the top 100 U.S. stocks by dividend yield.
