COMED Confirms No Problems Affecting CBOT

In response to inquiries from CBOT members and customers today (August 17), the Chicago Board of Trade confirmed with Commonwealth Edison that ComEd is not experiencing any problems that will affect the exchange. CBOT President and CEO Thomas R. Donovan called ComEd CEO John Rowe, who verified there will be no power problems at the CBOT. The CBOT will continue to operate under its normal trading schedules for open outcry and electronic trading on Project A.
