Date 29/11/2005

CMS WebView plc (CMS), an international systems and software provider, is launching the latest version of its key product TDI™. TDI™ is modular software used by futures exchanges, including the Chicago Board of Trade, to process large quantities of real-time financial data.

Today CMS has launched TDI™ Version 4, which includes a substantial number of enhanced features and benefits. These include:

  • New data content and statistic monitoring tools
  • Improved design tools providing rapid bespoke handler development
  • Upgraded administration and helpdesk website
  • Enhanced and rationalised API
  • Improved message monitoring to aid latency analysis
CMS has already deployed TDI™ Version 4 within its own ticker plant. From its City of London location, the CMS ticker plant processes more than 60 million transactions a day, from 20 different feed sources, providing data to over 50 organisations.

Lee Playford, CMS WebView’s Software Development Director, commented: “The full roll-out of TDI™ Version 4 ensures our ticker plant has the capacity to expand and handle growing volumes of data in the foreseeable future. With the ever-increasing amount of market data that companies like CMS WebView must process, a flexible and scalable technology such as TDI™ ensures we can always cater for demand.”

Bob Antell, CEO of CMS WebView plc, added: “The latest version of TDI™ will bring a number of important new benefits to clients, including improved interfaces and a greater number of options for how organisations receive and process data. Our testing procedures and liaison with clients enabled us to hone Version 4 into a product that offers substantial improvements over earlier versions.”
