The project will initially cover Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Thailand with the following objectives:-
- Evaluation of the market size and subsequent sales and support approach for CMS’s TDI™ Feed product.
- Promoting CMS’s TDI™ data management software for exchanges, banks and other corporate financial services organisations.
- Use of Comhedge’s Singapore offices as a base for CMS’s operations during the marketing project.
- The establishment of a TDI™ server in Singapore.
- The establishment of demonstration facilities.
- Both parties will be allocating relevant resource during the course of this project, the first phase of which is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2006.
“Comhedge’s experience of selling price vendor systems into banking, trading and exchange-related business in South East Asia means we can benefit from their local contacts and experience in this market.”
Alain Farhi, Managing Director of Comhedge, added: “We are very pleased to be working with CMS on this project. We have evaluated CMS’s TDI™ products, and believe it will be time and money well spent in assessing their viability with our financial institutions customer base.
“One aspect we particularly like about the CMS TDI™ product range is its ability to combine a consolidated feed together with proven ticker plant technology. This convenience will appeal to potential customers who would like to integrate CMS’s data feed with the data feeds they already take from other sources.”
