CME S&P 500/BARRA Growth And Value Indexes Move To Globex®2 Electronic Trading System On Dec. 3

Trading in S&P 500/BARRA Growth and Value Index futures and options contracts on Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) will move to the GLOBEX®2 electronic trading system beginning Sunday evening, Dec. 3, CME has announced.

CME will list electronically not only outright futures and options but also calendar spreads in S&P 500/BARRA Growth and Value futures as well as the spread between the nearby months in both contracts.

CME has offered futures and options on the S&P 500/BARRA Growth and Value indexes since 1995. Individual and institutional investors who manage assets based on growth or value styles of investing can utilize these instruments for risk management or asset allocation.
