MEFF (the Spanish Futures and Options Exchange), Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) and Standard & Poor's launched on June 21, 2001 stock index futures and options contracts on the S&P Europe 350 Index, along with its Financial, Information Technology and Telecom Services sector indexes.
The products will be the first futures instruments that will trade on a European exchange and clear on a U.S. exchange.
Futures and options will commence trading on the following indexes:
- S&P Europe 350 Index
- S&P Europe 350 Financial Index
- S&P Europe 350 Information Technology Index
- S&P Europe 350 Telecom Services Index
