Effective on Sunday, August 6, 90% Boneless Beef and 50% Beef Trimmings futures and options will trade exclusively on Globex2. Trading will open at 5:30 p.m. on Sundays and at 1:30 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays. Trading will close on the day following the opening at 1:00 p.m. for futures and at 1:02 p.m. for options. Daily price limits of $.06 and $.10 per pound will be imposed during the last 5 trading days in the spot month contract of 50% Beef Trimmings and 90% Boneless Beef futures, respectively. All other contract specifications will remain the same.
Effective on Monday, August 7, Fresh Pork Bellies and Pork Cutout futures and options will trade exclusively on Globex2. Trading will open at 7:00 a.m. on Mondays through Fridays. Trading will close the same day at 1:10 p.m. for futures and at 1:12 p.m. for options. Daily price limits of $.04 per pound will be imposed during the last 3 trading days in the spot month contract of Pork Cutout futures. Daily price limits of $.10 per pound will be imposed during the last 5 trading days in the spot month contract of Fresh Pork Bellies futures. All other contract specifications will remain the same.
