CME Changes: E-Mini Feeder Cattle Futures Launches On Globex®2 September 19, 2000 Contract Specifications

The CME Contract Specifications pages on the CME's Web site have been updated to reflect the following: Effective on Tuesday, September 19, 9:05 a.m. trading in E-Mini Feeder Cattle futures will be available on the CME's GLOBEX®2 electronic trading system, from 9:05 a.m. (Central) until 1:00 p.m.

The ticker symbol for E-Mini Feeder Cattle futures shall be "FM"; the ticker symbol for All-Or-None (AON) E-Mini Feeder Cattle futures shall be "OF". The contract months of October 2000, November 2000 and January 2001 will initially be listed for trade. Only three contract months will be listed concurrently.

Contract size shall be valued at 10,000 pounds times the CME Feeder Cattle Index (tm) per pound for 700 to 849 pound Medium Frame #1 and Medium and Large Frame #1 feeder steers. The minimum price fluctuations shall be in multiples of $.001 per pound.
