CME Announces Presidents Day Trading Hours

CME has announced the following trading schedule in conjunction with the Presidents Day holiday (all times are Central time):

Friday, Feb. 16

Unless noted below all products close at their regular trading time on the Exchange trading floor and CME Globex^®.

Commodity futures, foreign exchange (FX), interest rate, housing options, GSCI^® and weather option products traded on Exchange trading floors close at 12:00 noon (commodity options close at 12:02 p.m.).

Interest rate (excluding Eurozone HICP) and FX products traded on CME Globex during regular trading hours will close at 3:15 p.m. Commodities, weather, GSCI, GSCI Excess Return, fertilizer and ethanol traded on CME Globex will close at 12:00 noon.

Sunday, Feb. 18

CME Globex regular open for all products, for a trade date of Tuesday, Feb. 20, except for commodities, weather, GSCI, GSCI Excess Return, ethanol, TRAKRS and ETFs, which do not open for trading.

Monday, Feb. 19

Exchange trading floors closed in observance of Presidents Day. CME Globex trading continues uninterrupted, except for equity index products, which observe a 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. trading break, and interest rate, FX, CPI and housing products, which observe a 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. trading break. NYMEX/COMEX products will observe a 4:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. trading break.
