CME (NYSE, Nasdaq: CME) has announced the following trading schedule in conjunction with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday (all times are Central time):
Friday, January 12 Commodity futures, foreign exchange (FX), interest
rate, housing options, GSCI(R) and weather option
products traded on Exchange trading floors close
at 12:00 noon (commodity options close at 12:02
p.m.). Equity index products traded on the
trading floor close at their regularly scheduled
time of 3:15 p.m.
Equity index, interest rate and FX products traded
on CME Globex(R) during regular trading hours will
close at 3:15 p.m. Commodities, weather, GSCI,
GSCI Excess Return, fertilizer and ethanol traded
on CME Globex will close at 12:00 noon.
Additional products closing at their regular times
on CME Globex are CPI (2:00 p.m.), Eurozone HICP
(10:00 a.m.), TRAKRS(R) (3:00 p.m.), ETFs (3:15
p.m.), housing (2:00 p.m.) and NYMEX/COMEX
contracts (4:15 p.m.).
Sunday, January 14 CME Globex regular open excluding commodities,
weather, GSCI, GSCI Excess Return, ethanol, TRAKRS
and ETFs for a trade date of Tuesday, January 16.
Regular open for NYMEX/COMEX products traded on
CME Globex for a trade date of Tuesday, January
16. CME Globex-traded commodities, weather, GSCI,
GSCI Excess Return, ethanol, TRAKRS and ETFs do
not open for trading.
Monday, January 15 Exchange trading floors closed in observance of
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. CME Globex
trading continues uninterrupted, except for equity
index products, which observe a 10:30 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. trading break, and interest rate, FX, CPI and
housing products, which observe a 12:00 noon to
5:00 p.m. trading break. NYMEX/COMEX products
will observe a 4:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. trading
break.
Tuesday,
January 16 Regular trading sessions for CME Globex and
Exchange trading floors.
