Closure Of Bursa Malaysia Trading And Operations During Chinese New Year 2019

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or “the Exchange”) will close for trading half day Monday, 4th February 2019 afternoon, and all day Tuesday, 5th February 2019 and Wednesday, 6th February 2019, in conjunction with Chinese New Year celebration. The Exchange will resume operations on Thursday, 7th February 2019.

1.    Half-Day Morning Trading Session on Monday, 4th February 2019

Trading on Bursa Malaysia will be opened for the morning session only. There will be no trading in the afternoon session. However, Clearing and Settlement services provided by Bursa Malaysia Securities Clearing; depository services provided by Bursa Malaysia Depository; and clearing and settlement operations of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad will continue as usual on Monday, 4th February 2019. The office of Bursa Malaysia Securities will remain open until the end of business day.
