In observance of the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri public holiday, and subject to the official announcement by the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal, please be informed of the following announcement:
- 1. If the 1st day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on 20 March 2026 (Friday) and the 2nd day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on 21 March 2026 (Saturday):
- Both securities and derivatives market will operate under normal trading hours on 19 March 2026 (Thursday). However, there will be no T+1 Night Trading session for the derivatives market on that date.
- Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will be closed on 20 March 2026 (Friday).
- Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will resume operations on 23 March 2026 (Monday).
- 2. If the 1st day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on 21 March 2026 (Saturday) and the 2nd day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on 22 March 2026 (Sunday):
- Both securities and derivatives market will operate under normal trading hours on 20 March 2026 (Friday). However, there will be no T+1 Night Trading session for the derivatives market on that date.
- Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will be closed on 23 March 2026 (Monday).
- Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will resume operations on 24 March 2026 (Tuesday).
Note: Nonetheless, Bursa Gold Dinar primary marketplace and Bursa Suq Al-Sila’ will remain open for trading during the public holiday.
