In observance of the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri public holiday, and subject to the official announcement by the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal, please be informed of the following announcement:
1. If the 1st day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on 31 March 2025 (Monday) and the 2nd day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on 1 April 2025 (Tuesday):
- Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will be closed on 31 March and 1 April 2025 (Monday and Tuesday).
- Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will resume operations on 2 April 2025 (Wednesday).
2. If the 1st day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on 1 April 2025 (Tuesday) and the 2nd day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on 2 April 2025 (Wednesday):
- Both securities and derivatives market will operate under normal trading hours on 31 March 2025 (Monday). However, there will be no T+1 Night Trading session for the derivatives market on that date.
- Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will be closed on 1 April and 2 April 2025 (Tuesday and Wednesday).
- Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will resume operations on 3 April 2025 (Thursday).
Note: Nonetheless, Bursa Gold Dinar primary marketplace and Bursa Suq Al-Sila’ will remain open for trading during the public holiday.
