Clearstream Extends USD 1 Billion Multicurrency Revolving Credit Facility

Clearstream confirmed that it has successfully secured the extension of a USD 1 billion 364-day Multicurrency Revolving Credit Facility arranged for Clearstream Banking S. A. by BNP Paribas as "Mandated Lead Arranger". The facility was signed on 13 May 2003.

Clearstream Banking S.A. is a Luxembourg based company and is a 100% subsidiary of Clearstream International, the premier international clearing and settlement organisation. It provides global coverage in securities settlement, custody and asset optimisation services.

Clearstream International is part of Deutsche Börse Group, the largest exchange organization in the world when measured by market capitalisation and revenues.

The Facility has a 364-day maturity and is for the provision and maintenance of standby liquidity. This is the ninth extension of this facilty which is solely to provide standby liquidity cover.
