The Channel Islands Stock Exchange (CISX) is to host a seminar in London on corporate governance for Listed Issuers, together with a briefing to discuss current market issues and opportunities within the investment funds sector.
Spaces are still available at the seminar and the Exchange is offering a special rate of £500 for a table of eight for delegates who wish to attend the afternoon Market Update session only.
Taking place at the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall on October 8th, the morning seminar will include presentations on the role of the Company Secretary and a UK regulatory perspective on enforcement risk. It begins with an interactive workshop hosted by the Chief Executive of the CISX, Tamara Menteshvili, on the ongoing compliance requirements associated with Listing Rules.
The Market Update briefing that follows in the afternoon will feature expert speakers including lawyers, accountants and investment fund specialists discussing liquidity and investment fund strategies, together with an overview of current market trends and opportunities.
