Shanghai International Energy Exchange has released its Circular on Adjusting the Position Limit of Futures Firm Members , Overseas Special Brokerage Participants and Overseas Intermediaries as follows:

In accordance with the Announcement on the Release of the Revised Trading Rules of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange and the Risk Management Rules of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange, as from January 1, 2026, the percentage-based position limit will not apply to the Futures Firm Members (the “FF Members”), Overseas Special Brokerage Participants (the “OSBPs”) and Overseas Intermediaries. The Shanghai International Energy Exchange may make adjustments according to market conditions.
In the event of any inconsistency between the Chinese version and English translation, the Chinese version shall prevail.
