Cinnober One Of The Top “Great Places To Work In Sweden”

Date 16/03/2012

Last night the Great Place to Work Institute Sweden declared Cinnober the 7th best workplace among mid-sized companies in Sweden. The announcement was made at an awards ceremony held at Berns Salonger in central Stockholm.

The Great Place to Work Institute, based in San Francisco and with affiliates in 39 countries, produces many international employer ranking lists each year. This was the second time Cinnober participated in this globally renowned  employee study and also the second time it qualified for the Swedish top list for mid-sized companies.

“It’s an honor to work at a company where the employees themselves have evaluated the working environment as great,” says Javier Tordable, new CEO at Cinnober. “That we are strong internally reflects, of course, on the results we help our clients achieve. With a great workplace, where our employees can trust each other and take pride in working for Cinnober, we continue to bring innovative ideas to the market,” says Tordable.

The Great Place to Work Institute’s selection process includes a detailed employee survey based on a Trust Index, and information regarding programs and company practices supplied by the company.

“It’s important for us to have an inspiring and transparent workplace in order to attract and retain the very best colleagues in our industry,” says Christina Jacobsson, Head of Human Resources.

“Last year we participated in the survey for the first time and we were very proud to have achieved such high rankings in this reputable audit. The study from last year also gave us invaluable input in areas we can improve even further. From this year’s results we can see that our work has paid off. Now we will continue to work on becoming an even greater place to work,” Jacobsson concludes.

The employee study evaluates companies in five areas: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. The institute’s unique methodology measures the level of trust that exists between employees and management, the pride employees express about the company, and the camaraderie employees share.
