CHX Names Georgina Giannelli As Manager Of Marketing And Communications

The Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) announced today the hiring of Georgina Giannelli as manager of marketing and communications. Ms. Giannelli will be responsible for public relations and corporate communications for the CHX. She will report to Riva Aidus Hemond, director, marketing and communications. Before joining CHX, Ms. Giannelli served as manager of media relations for Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation. There she handled the company's internal communications and media relations programs. Ms. Giannelli earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both English and communications from Dominican University in River Forest, Ill., where she graduated magna cum laude. The Chicago Stock Exchange was founded May 15, 1882 and is the second most active stock exchange in terms of share and trade volume. The CHX is also the fastest growing exchange providing the strongest force for competition to all U.S. markets.
