Chuo Trust And Banking Added To S&P/Topix 150

Tokyo Stock Exchange and Standard & Poor's will replace the Mitsui Trust and Banking company (8401) in the S&P/TOPIX 150 Index with the Chuo Trust and Banking company (8408) after the close of trading on Monday, March 27, 2000.

The Mitsui Trust and Banking company will be merged into the Chuo Trust and Banking company on April 1 and delisted on March 28. New company name after the merger will be "The Chuo Mitsui Trust and Banking Company".

The IWF for the Chuo Trust and Banking company will be .40 like those for other banks or trust and banking companies.
