Christopher Kelly, 43 years old and an American citizen, is a graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Law School. He joins the COB after ten years with Morgan Stanley, where he was a managing director in investment banking. He was based in their New York office from 1993 to 1997 and joined their Paris office in September of 1997, where he was in charge of coordinating the capital markets activities of the bank in France, having been responsible for the execution of numerous IPOs and other financings.
He began his career as a corporate lawyer with the international law firm Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, first in New York and then in Paris (1989-1993), where he was admitted as a member of the French Bar in 1992.
