China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) announced Thursday night that it will from Friday suspend the stock market "circuit breaker" mechanism.
The mechanism, which was announced last month, began operating on Monday 4 January, and was triggered on Monday and Thursday, as plunges in the Hushen 300 Index reached 7 percent in both trading days.
