Guangshao Tu, Vice Chairman, China Securities Regulatory Commission, opened the market today. China remains an important market to TSX Group. There are more than 50 Chinese and Chinese-related companies listed on TSX Group's exchanges. Officials from the TSX are just back from a recent trip to Shanghai and Beijing where they met with potential issuers who were learning about the benefits of listing on Canadian markets.
