Chicago Stock Exchange Appoints Brodsky To Senior Vice President

The Chicago Stock Exchange, Inc. (CHX) yesterday announced the appointment of Stephen A. Brodsky as Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Sales. Brodsky will report directly to the Exchange CEO, Dave Herron.

Most recently, Brodsky served as a Vice President in the Investment Banking Department at Mesirow Financial. While at Mesirow Financial, Brodsky focused on mergers and acquisitions and strategic alternatives analysis for companies in the financial services industry. Prior to Mesirow Financial, Brodsky was an Associate in the Corporate Finance Department at John Nuveen & Co., Inc.

Dave Herron, CHX CEO, said, "The Exchange is very pleased to add Steve to our executive team. Steve brings a keen understanding of the financial markets that will be valuable to our strategic planning process. His broad base of industry contacts and legal background will make him a valuable player both at the Exchange and in the securities industry."

Brodsky holds a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from Syracuse University. He received his Juris Doctor degree and his Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University.
