- The Quarterly Bankruptcy Index Futures and Options were delisted on September 3, 2003.
- Effective September 26, 2003, new weather cities were added.
- Effective Monday, September 29, 2003, changes were made to the GLOBEX hours (please refer to CME Update 03-08 dated August 11, 2003). Also effective September 29th, One Chicago made changes to the SSF trading hours, opening at 8:30 a.m. rather than 8:15 a.m.
- Effective Friday, October 3, 2003, the CME launched the European Seasonal and Monthly Degree Days Index futures and options.
- Effective trade date Monday, October 6, 2003, the minimum fluctuation for British pound futures and options will become 0.0001 (=$6.25). In addition, there will no longer be a special "half tick" for options and the minimum fluctuation for AON and calendar spreads will remain at 0.0001 (=$6.25).
