Chicago Board Of Trade To Observe Four Separate Moments Of Silence To Commemorate September 11, 2001 - Ag Markets To Open At 9:31 a.m.

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) announced today that it will observe four separate one-minute periods of silence in memory of the victims of the September 11, 2001, events that occurred in New York, Washington D.C. and in Pennsylvania.

In conjunction with other major markets, the CBOT will observe one minute of silence on September 11, 2003, at 7:46 a.m., 8:03 a.m., 8:59 a.m., and 9:29 a.m. (Central Time) respectively.

The exchange's agricultural markets will have a one minute delay at its opening, with trading commencing at 9:31 a.m. (Central Time).
