Charlotte Crosswell is returning to the London Stock Exchange (LSE) as a non-executive director, bolstering the exchange's fintech expertise.
A spokesperson confirmed her appointment to the LSE board, a subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). This marks a homecoming for Crosswell, who was the LSE's head of international business development over two decades ago and also served on the board of LSEG's clearing house, LCH.
After departing the LSE in 2004, Crosswell joined Nasdaq, where she led its international division and was president of the now-defunct pan-European trading platform, Nasdaq OMX Europe.
More recently, Crosswell has become a prominent figure in the UK's fintech sector, holding key leadership roles such as CEO of the trade body Innovate Finance and chair of both Open Banking Limited and the Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology.
