Charles P. Carey Elected CBOT's First Vice Chairman New Members Of Board Of Directors, Nominating Committee Elected

In the Chicago Board of Trade annual elections yesterday, Charles P. Carey was elected First Vice Chairman, to serve a two-year term. Carey, a full member, is Senior Vice President, First Options of Chicago, Inc. Full members elected to the CBOT Board of Directors, with each to serve three-year terms, are: Robert F. Corvino, Independent Trader; Mark E. Cermak, President, O'Connor & Company (Futures Division); Raymond Cahnman, Chairman, TransMarket Group, L.L.C.; Veda Kaufman Levin, Independent Member; and, Michael D. Walter (non-resident), Senior Vice President, ConAgra, Inc.
The associate member Director elected to a three-year term is James P. McMillin, Independent Trader. Elected to serve three-year terms as members of the Nominating Committee are full members Jack R. Frymire, Vice President/Secretary, Iowa Grain Co., and Bruce A. Williams, Independent Trader. All of those elected take office Monday, January 3, 2000.
