At its meeting on 9 April 2013, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority has approved changes to the Exchange Management Board decided by the Exchange Supervisory Board on 22 February 2013. Beata Jarosz, a Member of the WSE Management Board since 2006, was appointed Vice President in February.

With a view to revitalising our strategy, we have decided to make changes in the organisation of the WSE in order to prepare us for the challenges faced by the Group in the years to come and to put in place the competences necessary for further growth and flexibility in addressing the changing business environment. This structure of the Management Board allows us to introduce a range of changes to the organisation of the WSE and to implement a more transparent division of competences in respect of responsibility for and supervision over particular areas of the Exchange’s activities,- said Adam Maciejewski, President and CEO of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
