Changes To Kuala Lumpur Syariah Index

In line with the updated list of Syariah approved securities released by the Syariah Advisory Council of the Securities Commission on 28th October 2005, Bursa Malaysia Berhad (Bursa Malaysia) announced the following changes to the Kuala Lumpur Syariah Index (KLSI).

New Components with effect from 18.11.2005

2. Can-One Bhd	10. Mechmar Corporation (M) Bhd
3. CNI Holdings Bhd	11 . Pan Malaysia Corporation Bhd
4. Gromutual Bhd	12. Ranhill Power Bhd
5. IQ Group Holdings Bhd *	13. Suria Capital Holdings Bhd
6. Kamdar Group (M) Bhd	14. Titan Chemical Corporation Bhd
7. Kuchai Development Bhd	15. UEM World Bhd
8. Lien Hoe Corporation Bhd

* IQ Group Holdings Bhd, a company listed on 10 October 2005, will be included in the KLSI three months after its listing date.

Components to be removed with effect from 18.11.2005

As a result of the above, the number of component stocks in the KLSI as at 18 November 2005 will be 508.
