Changes in the S&P ASX 50 Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/ASX 50 Index effective after the close of trading Tuesday April 13, 2004:

SUNCORP-METWAY (Australia, SEDOL: 6585084, GICS Code: 40201020) a member of the S&P/ASX 50 Index will increase its shares by 2,164,895 to 532,128,652. This change is due to a dividend reinvestment plan. There is no change to the IWF.
