Changes In Most Traded And ATTRACT40(TM) At Stockholmsbörsen

Stockholmsbörsen's segments for the most traded shares will be updated as of July 1, 2004. Four new companies will be added to the Most Traded segment of the A List. The O List segment, Attract40, will have 13 new companies and 11 will be removed from the segment.

Ahead of each calendar half year, a revision of the Most Traded and Attract40 segments is conducted on the basis of trading statistics. This ensures that the Attract40 and Most Traded segments reflect the companies that have been of greatest interest to investors during the immediately preceding half-year and year. The companies that are removed from the segments will be traded in the "Other shares" segments of the A and O Lists.

During the period July 1 to December 31, 2004, the Most Traded segment will comprise 32 companies. Attract40 will consist of 48 companies, including 13 newcomers.

Changes in the Most Traded and Attract40 segments as of July 1, 2004:

  • New companies in Most Traded segment: AB Industrivärden, Industriförvaltnings AB Kinnevik, OM HEX AB and SCANIA AB.
  • Companies removed from Most Traded segment: None
  • New companies in Attract40: Avanza AB, Framfab AB, Icon Medialab International AB, Industrial and Financial Syst. AB, Intrum Justitia AB, Kaupþing Búnaðarbanki hf., Lundin Petroleum AB, NCC AB, Net Insight AB, Nordnet AB, Oriflame Cosmetics S.A., Pergo AB and Proffice AB.
  • Companies removed from Attract40: Ballingslöv International AB, Biacore International AB, Capona AB, AB Custos, Medivir AB, Metro International S.A., SAAB AB, Transcom WorldWide S.A. and Inv. Ldt. Vostok Nafta. In addition, LGP Allgon Holding AB and Pandox AB have been moved from the segment due to takeovers.

The rules for qualifying for the A List Most Traded segment will change in connection with the next update of the segment at year-end 2004.
