Changes For CMK Corp., JSAT Corp., Sojitz Hldg., And Sumisho Computer Systems Corp. In The S&P Japan SmallCap 250 And S&P Japan 500 Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices effective after the close of trading, Friday July 29, 2005:
  • CMK Corp (Japan, SEDOL: 6160168, GICS: Information Technology, GICS Code: 45203010) a member of the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 3,607,471 to 60,588,051 due to the conversion of convertible bonds.
  • JSAT Corp (Japan, SEDOL: 6269184, GICS: Telecommunication Services, GICS Code: 50101010) a member of the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will decrease by 26,736 to 356,418 due to the repurchase of shares.
  • Sojitz Holdings Corp (Japan, SEDOL: 6594143, GICS: Industrials, GICS Code: 20107010) a member of the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 20,875,302 to 261,121,556 due to the conversion of preferred stock and convertible bonds.
  • Sumisho Computer Systems Corp (Japan, SEDOL: 6858474, GICS: Information Technology, GICS Code: 45103010) a member of the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 10,702,838 to 54,291,447 and its IWF will be updated to 0.43 due to its merger with Sumisho Electronics Co. Ltd. in a stock and debt deal.
