The Admission Board of the SWX Swiss Exchange herewith announces that Bruno Allmendinger, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Committee of Sulzer Ltd, Winterthur, has stepped down from the Admission Board because, as of 1 January 2007, he was elected a member of the Sanction Commission of the SWX Swiss Exchange. In addition, Dr. Felix Horber, Executive Director, Head of Policy & Corporate Governance at UBS Inc., Zurich, will step down from the Admission Board as of 31 January 2007 due to his having been named General Secretary of Swiss Re.
Peter E. Merian, Chairman of the Admission Board, expresses his thanks to both gentlemen for their valuable services in connection with the advancement of Swiss securities exchange law.
As successors to these two former members, Roland Abt, Head of Finance and Controlling (CFO) and member of the Executive Committee of Georg Fischer Ltd, Schaffhausen, and Bernhard Schmid, Managing Director and General Counsel Corporate Center, UBS Inc., Zurich, have been newly elected to the Admission Board.
