The Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Global Markets Advisory Committee (GMAC) today released the agenda for its meeting on February 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (EST) at the CFTC’s Washington, D.C. headquarters. Commissioner Caroline D. Pham is the sponsor of the GMAC. Members of the public can watch the live meeting via webcast on cftc.gov.
Commissioner Pham announced today that both the Honorable Joshua Frost, Assistant Secretary for Financial Markets, U.S. Department of the Treasury, and Paulina Dejmek Hack, Director for General Affairs, Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services, and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA), European Commission, will be the keynote speakers at the February 13 GMAC meeting.
The GMAC meeting will also feature panel discussions on Global Market Structure and Access to Markets, Global Commodity Markets Volatility, and Digital Asset Markets. The GMAC Chair and Vice- Chair are Tom Wipf, Vice Chairman, Morgan Stanley, and Darcy Bradbury, Managing Director and Head of Public Policy, D.E. Shaw & Co, respectively.
