On Monday, June 8, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m., members of the Subcommittee on Convergence in Agricultural Commodity Markets will conduct their first public conference call.
The Subcommittee on Convergence in Agricultural Commodity Markets, a subcommittee of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission?s (CFTC) Agricultural Advisory Committee, was formed by the CFTC to identify the causes of poor cash-futures convergence in select agricultural commodity markets and to advise the Agricultural Advisory Committee on possible actions to address the situation.
The conference call is open to the public.
