The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today announced the appointment, effective July 20, 2008, of Lenel Hickson as the Acting Regional Administrator in the New York Eastern Regional Office.
In this role, Hickson will provide management guidance and expertise to the staff of the Eastern Regional Office and serve as the official agency liaison with external and internal constituents. In addition, Hickson will serve as the acting Regional Counsel in the Division of Enforcement, Eastern Regional Office.
“I am grateful to Lenel for his willingness to assume these additional responsibilities at this critical time,” said CFTC Acting Chairman Walter Lukken. “I look forward to working with him as we continue to enhance our national regulatory operations.”
