The Roundtable discussion will include two sessions. The first session will focus on the development of the Commission's oversight program for Derivatives Clearing Organizations, and how the Commission and industry can work together to ensure the financial integrity and stability of the futures markets and derivative transactions while providing the flexibility contemplated in the Commodity Futures Modernization Act. The second session will provide a forum for clearing members and exchanges/clearing houses to discuss other clearing-related issues. A list of Roundtable participants will be provided at a later date.
The Roundtable will be open to the public. For further information, contact the Commission's Office of External Affairs at (202) 418-5080.
