Cement Company's IPO At Tehran Stock Exchange

65 million equity shares (10 percent of total) of Khuzestan Cement Company were offered for the first time at Tehran Stock Exchange on Tuesday 7 April 2015.

Each share’s price was discovered at IRR 4,450 to be traded at the second market of the exchange.

After the initial offering and price discovery of 52 million shares, the on-line investors were allowed to trade the remaining 13 million shares.

With the IPO, Tehran Stock Exchange’s listed companies amounted to 315. Khuzestan Cement Company is the 31st. listed cement producer at Tehran Stock Exchange. Its production capacity is 2.5 million tonnes per year, increasing total cement production capacity of the Exchange’s listed producers to 48 million tonnes.
