Celebrating The 15th Anniversary And A New Name - SIX Swiss Exchange Hosted The Celebration Of 100 Women In Hedge Funds And The Announcement Of Its New Appearance As 100 Women In Finance

With a bell ringing to close trading on SIX Swiss Exchange the non-profit organization 100 Women in Hedge Funds celebrated its 15th anniversary on 15 December 2016. Close to 40 women attended the event which focused on the topic of gender diversity and its growing importance for companies in Switzerland.

Werner Bürki, member of the management committee of SIX Swiss Exchange, presented insights on how SIX lives and fosters gender diversity. This was followed by a presentation by Anna Samanta, managing partner for talent and a member of the Swiss executive team at Deloitte, outlining differences in regards to gender parity globally and how Deloitte proactively tackles gender diversity

Launching a new name

Since its formation in 2001, the non-profit organization 100 Women in Hedge Funds has evolved from a small network of finance professionals into an organization with 15'000 members under the new name of 100 Women in Finance. The organization offers programs across 21 locations worldwide and aims at supporting its members in terms of education, professional leverage and philanthropy.
