In her speech at the House of Lords to launch National Inclusion Week 2019, Victoria Cleland highlights the Bank of England’s determination to be a diverse and inclusive employer and sets out some of the steps on this journey. 

She demonstrates the Bank’s progress by outlining a number of diversity and inclusion initiatives, including pooled recruitment for senior positions, our various Employee Networks and Diversity Working Groups, and the econoME initiative for schools.

Victoria concludes with references to the Bank’s National Inclusion Week events.
