The Global Association of Central Counterparties – held its Virtual Special General Meeting 2022.
In the CCP12 Special General Meeting which took place on 30 November 2022, CCP12 members acknowledged the Working Committees updates, working plan for 2023, progress outlook and budget 2022. Furthermore, CCP12 members discussed the upcoming in-person meetings in upcoming years.
“The past year has once again proven the value of organised, regulated, and structured markets. As markets reflect and reprice to the myriad challenges unfolding, participants have placed their trust in risk management in centrally cleared markets – CCPs have continued their resilient service to the greater trading and hedging needs of their participants. Our global community can congratulate themselves on a year of heightened activity and great collaboration.
2022 was also a fruitful year for CCP12. This year we officially have a presence in Europe with the Amsterdam office, and also we also renewed our in-person meetings. CCP12 hosted the Annual General Meeting in Madrid, and held meetings in Chicago earlier this month. We look forward to the new year and the important work ahead for the world’s cleared markets.” said Teo Floor, CEO of CCP12.
