Effective October 1, the CBOT® has waived all fourth quarter 2002 exchange transaction fees for all participants in the Dow complex, including both open auction and electronically traded contracts. The Dow complex consists of the open auction and electronic Dow futures and options contracts, as well as the recently launched all-electronic mini-sized Dow
SM futures contract. Additionally, the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation (BOTCC) has also elected to waive all BOTCC clearing fees for the Dow complex for the 4th quarter of this year.
These fee waivers are a key component of the Exchange's active efforts to develop the Dow complex. Volume in the complex year to date is up more than 67% from 2001 levels. Click here for details of this fee waiver and of changes to the 2003 fee structure.
