CBOT Trading Schedules For Christmas, New Year's Day Holidays

The following is the 2002 Chicago Board of Trade Christmas and New Year's Day holiday trading schedule:

Mon., Dec. 23:
Normal daytime schedules for all contracts.
Overnight a/c/e^SMclosed for agricultural contracts only.
Normal schedule for all other overnight a/c/e trading.

Tues., Dec. 24:
Open auction - Ags closed.
Last delivery day for Dec. 2002 Wheat & Oat futures will be Thursday, December 26.
Financials* close 12:00 noon.
Stock Indices close 12:15 p.m.

Electronic a/c/e trading - Ags closed.
Dow/AIG Indexsm closes 12:00 noon.
Financials, Stock Indices & Metals close 12:30 p.m.
Overnight a/c/e closed.

Wed., Dec. 25:
All daytime & overnight trading closed.

Thurs., Dec. 26:
Open auction - Normal schedule.
a/c/e - No morningAg or DJIA^SMsm ($10) trading.
Financials trade 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.;
mini-sized DJIA^sm trades 6:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.;
Metals trade 6:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Dow/AIG Index^sm has normal schedule.

Tues., Dec. 31:
Open auction - Ags & Financials close 12:00 noon.
Stock Indices close 3:15 p.m.

a/c/e - Dow/AIG Indexsm closes 12:00 noon.
Financials & Metals close 12:30 p.m. <
Stock Indices close 4:00 p.m.
Overnight a/c/e closed.

Wed., Jan. 1, 2003:
All daytime trading closed. a/c/e reopens at normal evening times.

*Financial contracts are Treasury Bond, Treasury Note, Municipal Bond/Note Index, Interest Rate Swap and Agency Note futures and options, 30-Day Fed Fund and Eurodollar futures.

The MidAmerica Commodity Exchange will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, Wednesday, December 25, 2002, and Wednesday, January 1, 2003. In general conformance with holiday trading schedules adopted by the primary market, the MidAm will observe the following closing times:

Tues., Dec. 24:
Soybeans, Wheat and Corn closed.

Tues., Dec. 31:
Soybeans, Wheat and Corn will close at 12:30 p.m.

If a primary market takes action to amend its trading schedule, the MidAm will amend its schedule accordingly.
