CBOT To Observe 2-Minute Moment Of Silence At 8:30 a.m. CDT

On Monday, September 17, the Chicago Board of Trade will observe a two-minute moment of silence at 8:30 a.m. Central Time. This will be in accordance with the New York Stock Exchange's observance in honor of the victims of the September 11 tragedy.

After the period of silence, "God Bless America" will be sung.

Trading will resume at 8:33 a.m.
